Brushing Up on Technique

As we always hear “there is more than one way to skin a cat” it seems there are never ending ways to create the same image whether its spending more time lighting and less time in post production or visa-versa. Nowadays the need for more quantity and quicker turnaround is always looming. Usually my workflow involves 1-3 hours per room lighting, styling, and adjusting furniture around and there are often instances that just don’t allow for that amount of time. I always want to provide a high level of imagery and so recently I’ve been brain-storming new workflows that would allow for less time on location and less fine-tooth comb post production but still result in stunning photos. Here is an image I slapped together as a result of one of those tests. I didn’t think I was going to blog about the results hence why I didn’t take any time to style and prep the room so please excuse that fact. Over-all I’m pretty happy with the results and I hope to use this technique soon!
