I found myself hanging out exploring the city alone. I decided the fastest way to get some culture and see the city was hop on the old style trolley that runs the coastline of Hong Kong Island. It may not be the fastest way get around but it cost only 3.20 HKD which translates to about 0.41 USD. Cheap!
On my way back I bumped into a huge cemetery built into the side of the mountain. Narrow, steep, and crammed is about the simplest way to describe the cemetery. It amazed me that something like this existed in the midst of the cement jungle of Hong Kong.
Once I got back to the Western district Rob decided that it would be a great time to get an afternoons exercise in so we changed and started our way up “The Peak” making it to two different points, both of which were hard reminders that I should be doing more of this back home.
After we got back it was a short evening with some great food, local drinks, and a short taste of the local nightlife.
